On October 7, 1972 she married her high school sweetheart, Richard Dean Davis and he survives in Richwood.

The Richwood native was bom June 16,1910, a daughter of John and Allison McCurdy Cheney. She was a member of Richwood First United Methodist Church and its Women's Society.
Her first husband. Dr. John Gallager, died Dec. 21,1971 in St. Joseph, Mich. She then married Kenneth Davis, and he survives.
