She was born July 2, 1941 in Marion to the late Elizabeth (Matteson) Sandy and Denver Sandy.
Geneva was married to Vernon D. Lane on June 30, 1960 and he died September 15, 2015. She was also predeceased by three brothers, James and Melvin Sandy and Justus Fish.

He was born in Jackson Township on Sept. 17, 1916, to John W. and Hazel D. (Kale) Lane.

He was born February 26, 1935 in Union County to the late John Welling and Hazel (Kale) Lane.
