Barbara J. Allinder

Barbara J. Allinder, 79 of Prospect, died Friday evening May 17, 2024 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born February 27, 1945 in Marion to the late Charles Herbert and Mary Ann (Jacobs) Huntsman. She was also preceded in death by her husband Ronald “Shorty” Allinder, they were married May 18, 1968 and he died March 5, 2016. Also preceding her in death was a son, Thomas Wibley, siblings, Billy, Clifford and Harvey Huntsman, Josephine Hendrickson, Cora Ledley and Edith Hoover.

Barbara was a homemaker; her #1 job was her family. Birthday parties, cookouts and any family get-together were so special to her. (as long as there was food, dessert and coffee!)
She loved playing computer games; she did a good job of keeping up on the new technology throughout the years.
To say she had a GreenThumb was an understatement.
Barbara was always on a mission, going somewhere to be with her family and to be present in their lives.

She was a very giving, caring person who always looked for the good in everyone. She will be greatly missed.

Surviving are her children, Steve Wibley of Lakeview, Lisa (John) Brown of Cardington, Lorie (Brad) Williamson of Marion, James (Bobbie Jo) Allinder of Prospect and John (Heather) Allinder of York Center.
Grandchildren, Tom (Stephanie) Brown, Christina Brown, Jordan (Jennifer) Williamson, Madison (Kegan King) Williamson, Allison (Cam Sims) Allinder, Brayden (Julienne Greco) Allinder, Olivia (Kayleigh) Rider, John Allinder Jr., Keira Allinder Parekh, Austin Allinder, Ashley Wibley, Kenny Wibley, Travis Gahn, Amanda (Mark) Brown, Chris (Jodi) Wibley, Kayle Williamson and Brandon (Daisy) Williamson
