Leonard Maynard
Leonard Maynard, 58, of Upper Sandusky, died Saturday morning, May 31, 2008 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born October 6, 1949 in Kentucky to the late Floyd and Irene (Hurley) Maynard.
On March 2, 1968 he married the former Joann M. Dowell in Michigan and she survives
He worked as a maintenance supervisor at Eaton for 22 years, retiring in 1997. He enjoyed woodworking and working in the yard and was a wonderful cook. The most important thing in his life was his family.
He is survived by three daughters, Barbara (Doug) Burbaugh, Harpster; Tina (Jim) Soice, Marion; Jody (Ellery) Maze, Marion; two sisters, Laura (Jim) Hensel, Virginia; Joann Coleman, Caledonia; seven grandchildren and a great-grandson.
There will be no public services. Memorial gifts may be made to the American Cancer Society, 870 Michigan Ave, Columbus, OH 43215 or a Hospice organization of the donor’s choice.
