Dear Phid & Family - We'll always remember the Denman family reunions with Charlie sitting front and center playing Euchre. Laughing as he lost or won - didn't matter - it was family time and good food so he was happy. We never saw him without a smile on his face and in his eyes. His love for his wife, Phid, was always evident when he looked at her - the same love reflected when he looked at their daughters, their families and dear friends. He will be sorely missed by all who were privileged enough to be his family and friend. RIP, Charlie - your pain is past.

To Charlie's family:
I graduated from Harding in 1957 and lived in Marion until about 1962. Charlie cut my hair at the Corner. What a nice guy. Always interested in my baseball activity. Quick to compliment me on any hits, but even quicker if I made an error! I have lived in Mansfield since 1966, but often wondered what happened to Charlie. Sounds like he enjoyed a great life and I appreciate having known him. You have my condolences.
