Lewis E. McComasBassLewis E. McComas, 78 of York Center, died Saturday March 28, 2026 at Monarch Skilled Nursing and Rehab in Marysville.

He was born April 14, 1947 in Delaware to the late Everett and Elizabeth (Edwards) McComas. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Donna Mae (Dennis) McComas, they were married December 23, 1966 in Marysville and she died January 30, 2013. Also preceding him in death was a daughter, Gayla Jean McComas and siblings, Rosemary McComas, Opal Beard, Leona Hodge, Dennis McComas, Len McComas and Everett McComas.

Lewis worked in a factory and was a farm hand for many years. He loved fishing and spending time with his granddaughter Jenna. Lewis was a member of the Byhalia Friends Church.

Surviving is his son, Tony Len (Valerie) McComas of York Center and granddaughter, Jenna (Jason) Myers of Richwood.
Sisters, Carrie Braithwaite, Bonnie Engle and Bernice Dutton

Graveside services will be held Tuesday March 31, 2026 at 11:00 am at the York Cemetery. Pastor Jim Gardner will officiate.

The Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home is assisting the family

Tony & family, My heart goes out to your family in the death of your Dad, Grandpa and brother. I always enjoyed him in Church and till can see him sitting in the front pew. He has been missed and will continue to be missed by his Church family.
