Tina Marie HauseTina Marie Hause, 65 of LaRue, passed away peacefully Sunday afternoon March 22, 2026 at her home, following a long battle with ALS.

She was born May 14, 1960 in Kenton to the late David Roe and Delia Belle (Michael) Fryman, she was also preceded in death by three brothers, David Eugene, Ronald Alan and Michael Steven Fryman.

Tina was a 1978 graduate of Elgin High School. She was a server at heart, having worked at the former Village Kitchen in LaRue and at other food establishments in the area, she loved being with people and people loved being with her.
She loved, she gave, she was a friend to many. Her family was very important to her. But what was her strength, it was in only one, her savior Jesus! To know her was to love her. Words fall short to tell you about her, you had to experience her!
Tina and Larry were current members of New City Fellowship in Marion but were longtime members of LaRue Baptist Church.

Surviving is her devoted husband, Larry Hause, they were married July 1, 1978 in LaRue. Also surviving are their children, Megan Cross of Tampa, Florida, Joshua (Debbie) Hause of Marion and Elaine (Charles) Colby of LaRue
Grandchildren, Harrison, Vivienne, Ellen, Ruth, Mathias, David and Emmilia
Siblings, Linda (Bill) Todd, Carolyn Bennett and Delia Kay (Steve) Fox
And many dear friends and extended family that will miss her greatly.

Funeral services celebrating her life will be held Sunday March 29, 2026 at 6:00 pm at the LaRue Baptist Church, 217 N. High St. LaRue, Ohio 43332. Pastor Tim Pasma will officate. Friends may call 3 hours prior to the service beginning at 3:00 pm at the church. Burial will take place in the LaRue Cemetery at a later date.

Memorial gifts may be made to LaRue Baptist Church PO Box 374 LaRue, Ohio 43332, New City Fellowship 675 Uncapher Ave. Marion, Ohio 43302 and/or ALS Assn. 6133 Rockside Rd Suite 301 Independence, Ohio 44131

Tina was one of the first women at our church, New City Fellowship, to befriend me. We quickly realized our shared interests and traits— art, creating things, having a good friendship with our husbands, wanting to learn, being a quieter person and feeling lonely at times— but figuring out how to press on anyway. One of the things she said to me that may stick with me for a while is “it seems as I get closer to Christ, he is all I have”. And, despite herself and how she felt even in her struggles, she always had an abundance of outpouring love for others. She always offered some of the best encouragement and often in a short minute of passing by her, would say “I’m praying for you”. I’ll remember the sweet times of picking her up from her house to grab Arby’s and visiting at Ben and I’s first apartment, sharing in the joy of using her potter’s wheel that she passed onto me but unfortunately got ruined in storage, long distance phone calls with her in Florida, becoming a momma over and over again and each time receiving her handknit blankets and words of encouragement that motherhood is beautiful and worthy. We loved Tina so much. She holds a sweet place in our hearts and was a beautiful example of serving Jesus with all of her heart, mind, soul, and strength… even when she didn’t have much physically, she had everything spiritually because of her hope in Christ. Rest in heavenly peace, sweet Tina.

Larry and family,  What a joy and a blessing to get to know Tina! She embodied grace, joy, hope, and love. Her dedication to her family and friends knew no bounds. And she glowed with the love of Jesus. She finished her race well and now her cup truly overflows with that unspeakable joy.   What comfort to know that she’s rejoicing with Jesus and that we’ll all see her again someday.   Dear Tuna, I will see you in the morning.

Tina, we were friends from the very first day we met. You will always be remembered for the sweet, gently person you were. And for always wanting to sing “Going To The Chapel And We’re Gonna Get Married” with me. The last visit I sang it just for you. I’ll see you in the chapel in heaven one day. Prayers for Larry and all your family.

Larry and family, my deepest sympathy to all of you. Tina was such a special lady. Always had a smile, so kind, and generous! I will never forget how loving and kind she was to our late brother, Doug, from the time he lost his hearing, and all through his other health issues. She was a true, dear friend to him. I know it meant the world to him. May you all find peace knowing that she's with our loving Savior now. Prayers, Lynn Murphy Gruber

Larry & family, I am so sorry for your loss.  Tina was always so nice to me when I was a customer at Lynch’s.  She always had a great big smile, upon her pretty face. I remember one time, while shopping at the store for ground beef, while we were talking, she asked me if I had ever tried salsa in my chili.  I replied , no.  She said, it really was good.  So, I bought some & I made it that night.  Ronnie loved it , and so,I have made it that way ever since.  I think of her every time I make chili.   Who knows, just maybe she & Ronnie will share some chili, while in heaven! 🩷& 🙏’s to you & your family, my friend.

We grew up with Tina in Green Camp Baptist Church where my father-in-law was pastor. She was just a year behind me in school. She married Larry, a classmate of mine, a year after I got married. I lost close touch with her for years, but several years ago I began sending out a verse each day by text, and she was on my list. She often responded with a text or call and she was always so full of praise & encouragement from the Lord. Loved her spirit and look forward to rejoicing in heaven with her.
