Odell was a good friend during my "LaRue days". He was one of the best athletes to ever come out f our town as well as one of Elgin's all time best. During my coaching days we had a bunch of great cell conversations. He was always interested in what I was doing and offering me good advice. RIP old friend.

Odell was a very good athlete in everything he did. He was a big strong kid. He also was fast on the track team. He had an easy going personality. May GOD be with you at this time of grief today and everyday.

I grew up with Odell in Larue during the 60's. Rode our bikes around town, played basketball and baseball at the old school building, and hung out at the Corner Store. In high school we were classmates and teammates and graduated together in the class of 1969. I considered Odell a great friend and I'm very sorry for your loss. I'll never forget our adventures together. Rest in peace Dill.

Dean and O’Dell were teammates and Dean never failed to compliment his abilities. I knew O’Dell better at the hatchery where he drove and delivered shipments for us. He was reliable, responsible and respectful.
He showed the best attributes of both worlds.
Dean and I send our deepest sympathies to the family; he will surely be missed.
