Phyllis I. Cramer |
Phyllis I. Cramer, 94 of Deerfield Beach, Florida, formerly of Richwood, died Sunday March 2, 2025 at the home of her daughter in Eustis, Florida.
She was born July 11, 1930 at the family home in Magnetic Springs to the late F. Joseph and Eva J. (Harper) Miller. She was also preceded in death her husband, Daniel C. Cramer, they were married October 6, 1951 at the home of her parents in Magnetic Springs. Phyllis was also predeceased by siblings, Dorothy Landon, Joseph Miller and Lewis Miller.
Phyllis attended Magnetic Springs High School and graduated in 1948 as the valedictorian of her class. She married her high school sweetheart, Dan, in 1951 and they settled in Richwood, Ohio.
Phyllis worked at the Richwood Banking Company for many years as the Secretary to the President. She loved working with the customers and was always a familiar face at the bank. As well as working at the bank, Phyllis served as treasurer/clerk for the Richwood Library for many years. She was so proud and excited when the new library was built.
She relocated to Florida with her husband in 1982 and together they founded C & H Concrete Construction, Inc. in Pompano Beach, Florida. Phyllis was the Owner of the company until her passing.
Phyllis was an avid fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes, and one special year Phyllis and her sister got season tickets and would take the train down to Columbus to catch the games. Although they only had the tickets for one season, it would become the source of many conversations for years to come. Since moving to Florida, Phyllis became a season ticket holder to the Miami Dolphins and would take the bus down to those games.
Phyllis was a voracious reader and would always have a book near her, or on her iPad later on, and passed this love of reading to her children and grandchildren.
She always enjoyed her trips back to Ohio and seeing all of her friends and family. Phyllis was one of the kindest and gentlest people you would meet, but had a wicked sense of humor, and showed her toughness on occasion. Throughout her life, Phyllis was always patient and supportive of her grandkids and was willing to help them with whatever they needed.
Surviving are her children, Kathy (Brad) Wilson of Eustis, Florida, Keith (Stefanija) Cramer of Pompano Beach, Florida
grandchildren - Joe (Michele) Davis, Abby (Gary) Beaulieu, Kylie, Kolton and Kenton Cramer. Great grandchild - Sean Beaulieu

And many extended family and friends

Keith and Kathy,
Your mom was and is an angel of God. She put up with Danny and my antics for a lot of years; especially when we all moved to Florida. I have so many good memories of the good times we had together. My prayers are with your family.

Kathy and Keith, so sorry to hear of your mother's passing. My memories go back a long way, from being neighbors on George St, the camping trips we all took together, having you both as students, and getting together after both of us moved to Florida. Your mother was such a classy lady who always had a smile and a kind word. She will be missed but I know you have memories that will last forever.
