Donald Lee Pfister Sr |
 Donald Lee Pfister Sr, 89 of Richwood, died early Wednesday morning October 2, 2024 at the Monarch Skilled Nursing and Rehab in Marysville.
He was born January 24, 1935 in Decatur, Illinois to the late Frederick Norman and Dorothy Agnes (Briggs) Pfister, he was also preceded in death by wives, Linda, Elsie, Peggy and Cora and two sisters.
Don served our country in the United States Army. He had worked at Northwestern Steel & Wire in Sterling, Illinois. He also had been a valuable employee at the former Richwood Cardinal for many years.
Surviving are his children, Barb (David) Underwood of Richwood, Donny (Leslie Stewart) Pfister of Richwood, Deb Farrington of Richwood, Kelly Pfister and Vickie (Alex) Laramy
Multiple grandchildren
Funeral services will be held Wednesday October 9, 2024 at 11:00 am at the Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home in Richwood. Pastor Lloyd Markley will officiate. Burial will follow in the Claibourne Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to the service beginning at 10:00 am at the funeral home in Richwood.
The family would like to thank ViaQuest Hospice for their loving care of Don.

Barb and family. So sorry to hear about your Dad. He we'll always hold a special place in my heart ; when he worked at the grocery store. Every time I would go out there and get stuff to bake cookies he would say. Don't forget I'll sample those for you and I always took him a plate of cookies. He's going to be missed
