Donald Lee Pfister Sr

Donald Lee Pfister Sr, 89 of Richwood, died early Wednesday morning October 2, 2024 at the Monarch Skilled Nursing and Rehab in Marysville. He was born January 24, 1935 in Decatur, Illinois to the late Frederick Norman and Dorothy Agnes (Briggs) Pfister, he was also preceded in death by wives, Linda, Elsie, Peggy and Cora and two sisters. Don served our country in the United States Army. He had worked at Northwestern Steel & Wire in Sterling, Illinois. He also had been a valuable employee at the former Richwood Cardinal for many years. Surviving are his children, Barb (David) Underwood of Richwood, Donny (Leslie Stewart) Pfister of Richwood, Deb Farrington of Richwood, Kelly Pfister and Vickie (Alex) Laramy Multiple grandchildren Funeral services will be held Wednesday October 9, 2024 at 11:00 am at the Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home in Richwood. Pastor Lloyd Markley will officiate. Burial will follow in the Claibourne Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to the service beginning at 10:00 am at the funeral home in Richwood.
