Robert (Bobby) Vadjunec |
Robert (Bobby) Vadjunec, 65 of Richwood, passed from this life unexpectedly on July 21, 2024 at his home. He was born on May 5, 1959 in Youngstown.
Bobby graduated from Rayen High School in Youngstown. In his younger years, he lived in California and worked for Pepsi before relocating back to Ohio in 1988. Prior to being permanently disabled, he worked making mattresses for a company in Ohio.
He had a passion for working on cars, being outdoors, and gardening. He also loved playing, swimming, and taking road trips with his faithful, furry, four legged companion, Shadow. For those who knew him well, he did not like cell phones, loved to agitate and get you riled up, then flash you his mischievous grin. He loved having fun with his friends, family, and loved ones.
Robert (Bobby) is survived by his son, Matthew Vadjunec, his long-term girlfriend Lisa Shaner, and his siblings, Carl Vadjunec, Walter "Sonny" Vadjunec, Cynthia (Chuck) Pallai, along with nieces and nephew: Michael, Amy, Lindsay, Nicole, Shelby, Cassandra, and Stephanie. He also left behind his beloved dog Shadow and Lisa's dog Bailey.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Walter and Frances (Tkalec) Vadjunec and his brother, Steve Vadjunec.
A private memorial will be held at a later date.
The Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home in Richwood is assisting the family.

I pray that you have found peace and are free of pain. I believe you are enjoying one heck of a reunion with our family and friends that passed before you.
Being the youngest and only female with four older brothers certainly made life interesting. It definitely made me stronger. As a family, we've had our ups and downs, but at the heart of it all, we love and support each other, helping however needed.
Rest in peace, my brother. I will always love you and treasure all memories of you!
