Polly Ann Greene |
 Polly Ann Greene, 88 of Delaware, formerly of LaRue, died peacefully Monday evening February 19, 2024 at her home.
She was born January 8, 1936 in Alliance to the late Henry Robert and Dorothy May (Chapman) Coy. She was also preceded by her husband, Harold V. Greene, they were married August 6, 1977 in Zeleski, Ohio and he died April 8, 2014. She was also predeceased by a son, James Milliron.
Polly had worked at Delo Screw as an inspector. She was a longtime and devoted member of the LaRue Baptist Church.
Polly enjoyed crafting, making things with beads was her specialty. She loved to go to flea markets, shopping was more like a hobby for her, she would explore. Polly was not one to sit still, she loved βTo Goβ.
Her favorite tv channels were Lifetime movies and Turner Classics. Pollyβs family will miss her cooking, her meatloaf, pineapple upside-down cake and potato salad were favorites.
Polly will be remembered for her loving, upbeat personality.
Surviving are her children, Harold K. (Dee) Greene, Marysville, Lloyd (Connie) Milliron, Delaware, Butch (Linda Lou) Milliron, Delaware, Charlene (Bob) Flint, Marysville, Brenda (Merrill) Eggleston, Marysville, Linda Sue Roloson, Delaware and Roberta Lee Smith, Delaware
69 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren Β
Two stepbrothers and one step sister
Funeral services will be held Saturday February 24, 2024 at 11:00 am at the LaRue Baptist Church. Pastor Tim Pasma will officiate. Burial will follow in the LaRue Cemetery. Friends may call Friday from 5-7 pm at the Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home in LaRue.
Memorial gifts may be made to the LaRue Baptist Church at PO Box 374 LaRue, Ohio 43332 and/or OhioHealth Hospice, 1713 Marion Mount Gilead Rd, Marion, OH 43302
