Earl R. “Bob” Brown Sr.

Earl R. “Bob” Brown Sr., 78 of Richwood, died Wednesday evening December 14, 2022 at the Memorial Hospital in Marysville. He was born October 31, 1944 in Marion to the late John and Marjorie (Collins) Brown. He was also preceded in death by 3 brothers and 3 sisters. Bob served our country in the United Sates Marine Corps. For most of his life he worked with harness horses, either as a trainer or a driver at various tracks around Ohio. He cherished the time he was able to spend with Louie Tanner working on lawnmowers, playing cards and just fixing the world’s troubles. Surviving are his siblings, Gordon (Bev) Brown of Richwood, Pat Redman of Florida and Marjorie Adams of Marion, one son and two daughters. Graveside services will be held Monday December 19, 2022 at 12 noon at the Claibourne Cemetery, Celebrant Hayden Stofcheck will officiate. Friends may call starting at 11 am at the Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home in Richwood.
