Dolores Elizabeth Gast |
 Dolores Elizabeth Gast, 94 of Prospect, entered eternal rest on Monday, October 31 at the Kingston Residence in Marion.
She was born in Akron, on April 11, 1928 to the late William and Carmella (Sica) Pitts. She was also preceded in death by her loving husband of 61 years, Loren W. Gast; they were married September 25, 1947 in LaRue and he died March 15, 2008, a sister, Virginia Gillespie and a son, Brian Gast.
Surviving family members include her children, Judith Gast of Grove City, Bruce (Bonnie) Gast of Prospect and a sister, Mary Alice Stout of Marion; two grandchildren, Andrew (Sara) Gast of Powell and Joshua (Amber) Gast of Ostrander, and six great grandchildren.
Dolores loved spending time with her family and truly enjoyed being with them on Thanksgiving, Christmas and birthdays. She was a wonderful cook and everyone enjoyed her homemade cookies.
A private family graveside service at the Prospect Cemetery will be conducted by Pastor Jennifer Gonsalves.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Waldo (Post Office Box 162, Waldo, Ohio 43356.)

Grandma D, as you were known by our entire family. I think of you everyday when I look at your house. So many great memories over many years as neighbors and friends. You are greatly missed. I hope Mom was there to meet you. May you rest in sweet peace.
