Lois M. Walker

Lois M. Walker, 91 of Richwood, died Thursday February 24, 2022 at the Memorial Gables in Marysville. She was born June 6, 1930 in Columbus to the late Ralph and Edith (Veth) Petty, she was also preceded in death by two husbands: Charles E. Nace, they were married 27 years and Donald H Walker, they were married 10 years. She was also predeceased by one son, Charles Edward Nace Jr. and siblings: Tom, Carleton, Bud and Norman Petty and Virginia Smith. Lois was a very happy person who loved to smile and make the people around her feel good. She also had a bit of an ornery side to her! Lois was not one to sit still, she had worked at White Westinghouse and Lusterware in Columbus. She loved to be outdoors, working in her yard and garden. She also enjoyed doing all sorts of crafts, canning, dancing and crocheting. Lois belonged to the Red Hatters in Richwood and was known for being a very good cook, her family remembers her fried chicken as being one of her specialties. She always enjoyed going on an adventure with her family, she truly loved them. Surviving are her children: Vicki Lynn Nace of Georgia, Tami Sue McCarty of Milford Center, Becki Lee Nace of Richwood, Mark Alan Nace of Florida and Larry Gene (Jona) Nace of Marysville 12 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren Funeral services will be held Tuesday March 1, 2022 at 11:00 am at the Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home in Richwood, Chaplain Tom Schwind will officate, burial will follow in the Oakdale Cemetery, Marysville.
