Wayne Douglas Rees

Wayne Douglas Rees, 73 of Raymond, died Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at OSU Medical Center. He was born June 1, 1948 in Kenton to the late Ralph Morse and Audrey (Williams) Rees. On April 5, 1970 he married the former Barbara S. Powell, and she died February 13, 2016. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Martin. A 1966 graduate of Marysville High School, he was a talented machinist, working on cars all his life. In his later years he managed the NAPA store in Richwood. Wayne had a deep love for music as well as racing. The most important thing to him was family. He is survived by two sons, Douglas W. Rees, Marysville; David L. Rees, Raymond; a daughter, LaNeena M. Rees, Ottawa, Illinois; and his girlfriend, Julie Powell, Raymond. There will be no formal services at this time.
