Jack Arthur Rouse

Jack Arthur Rouse, 93 of Marion, died Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at Marion General Hospital. He was born March 6, 1928 in Richwood to the late Jonathan Arthur and Nancy Margaret (Sayre) Rouse. He was also preceded in death by a son, Terry Rouse, and step-son, William Dailey and his former wives, Helen Joyce and Mildred Ruth. Jack loved working outside in his yard and going to picnics. He was known by the handle, "Smokey" in his CB club. When he was able, he could be seen at McDonald's every morning enjoying his breakfast and coffee. He is survived by a daughter, Cathy Ann Lewis, Marion; step-daughters, Judy Hughes, Marion; Betty Dailey, Delaware; Karen Moore, Marysville; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held Tuesday November 30, 2021 at 10:30 am at the Claibourne Cemetery, Pastor Joseph Rhea will officiate.
