Wanda Kay Compton

Wanda Kay Compton, 72, of Byhalia, died Sunday November 15, 2020 at the Marion General Hospital. She was born January 29, 1948 in Richwood to the late Charles and Alice (Phipps) Major. Wanda had worked at the Ohio Reformatory for Women in Marysville in the office. She enjoyed taking care of her garden and flowers. Wanda was a member of the Byhalia Friends Church. But her family was the number one priority for her, she gave herself to take care of them. Surviving are her sons: Dan Dickinson of West Mansfield and Mike (Amber McCracken) Dickinson of Richwood. Grandkids: Emily (Adam) Morley and Colton and Ava Dickinson Siblings: Paul (Margine) Major, LaRue, Wayne (Becky) Major, Bellefontaine, David Major, Richwood, William (Anita) Major, LaRue, Charlotte (Richard) Higgins, Richwood, Carolyn (Virgil) Goins, Claibourne and Sharon Major, Marysville Due to the current health situation, services for Wanda will be at a later date.
