Richard A. Smith Sr. |
 Richard A. Smith Sr., 73 of Pharisburg, died peacefully Sunday evening November 26, 2017 at his home surrounded by his family.
He was born October 16, 1944 in Marysville to the late William and Myrtle (Underhill) Smith, he was also preceded in death by five siblings
On May 31, 1962 in Kentucky he married Martha (Combs) and she survives, also surviving are their children: Lisa Snyder of Caledonia, Richard A. Smith Jr. of Marysville and Edna Steberl of Delaware
Grandchildren: Tiara Smith, Sensa Smith, Kyra Smith, James Snyder, Adam Tignor, Christina Snyder, Timothy D. Smith and Tiffany Smith
Great grandchildren: Dameion and Paige Smith, Gage Welch, Jordynn Boyd, Kyleah Smith, Keira Smith, Hunter and Gunner Tignor
Richard was a die cast operator for Ray Lewis and Sons in Marysville for 28 years, he had attended the Community United Calvary Church in Richwood, enjoyed camping and fishing, especially at Alum Creek. Richard loved people, he cherished the time he spent with his family, it meant everything to him.
Funeral services will be held Thursday November 30, 2017 at 11:00 am at the Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home in Richwood, burial will follow in the Raymond Cemetery, Dean Henderson will officiate, friends may call one hour prior to the service.
