June McCarty

June McCarty 83 lifelong resident of Magnetic Springs, died peacefully Thursday afternoon May 4, 2017 at the Memorial Hospital in Marysville. She was born June 3, 1933 in Magnetic Springs to the late Edgar and Ernestine (Halley) Freeman. June was truly a homemaker; her happiest times were when she was feeding her family and friends. Family was the most important thing to June, she especially looked forward to the times when she was with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She always had a treat for them when they visited. On December 4, 2016, her loving husband Gene McCarty died, they were married June 18, 1949 in Greenup, Kentucky, it might be said that June was really missing Gene. She was also predeceased by siblings: Goldie Handley, Mary Jo Tredway, Gene Saunders, Charles Freeman and Joan Cox. Surviving are two sons, Bill McCarty, Magnetic Springs; Joe (Joyce) McCarty, Magnetic Springs; a daughter, Becky (Greg) Kimler, Marysville; six grandchildren, Jamie (Mike) McCarty, Ryan Kimler, Danielle McGee, Casey (Ashley) McCarty, Chelsey (Damian) Ramos, Rochelle (Logan) Guisinger; eleven great-grandchildren, Noa, Riley, Stella, Violet, Trinton, Taylor, Johnathon, Logan, Brayden, Cameron, and Kayden. Brother: George (Mary Jane) Freeman, Marysville Friends may call Monday May 8, 2017 from 4-7 pm at the Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home in Richwood, where services will be held Tuesday at 11:00 am, Pastor Judy Cramer will officiate, burial will follow in the Hopewell Cemetery Memorial gifts may be made to Loving Care Hospice, P.
