Harold Schorr

Harold E. Schorr, 76 of Marion died Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at Heartland of Marion.  He was born December 29, 1937 in Cardington to the late Wilbur and Edith (Beringer) Schorr. He was a member of the Larue United Methodist Church.   He worked in the welding department at Honda for thirteen years until he retired in 2004.  Prior to that, he had worked at Tecumseh for eighteen years and at Elgin West Elementary in LaRue for seven years.  Harold took great pride in taking care of his home. On August 27, 1960 at the Trinity Baptist Church in Marion he married the former Marjorie A. (Lee) and she survives, he is also survived by two sons, Jeff (Maria) Schorr, Medina and their children, Matthew, Lily and Elena; Tim (Kim) Schorr, Chesapeake, Virginia and their children, Logan, Wyatt and Reece; two sisters, Martha Schorr and Betty Appell, both of Columbus. A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 18, 2014 at 1:00 PM at the LaRue United Methodist Church with Pastor Mike Raypholtz officiating.  Friends may call two hours prior to the service, beginning at 11:00 AM at the church.
