Ernest Deel |
 Ernest Deel, 76 of Radnor, died unexpectedly Monday, October 13, 2014 at home. He was born June 19, 1938 in Haysi, Virginia to the late George Joseph “Joe” and Florence (Coleman) Deel.
On December 21, 1956 he married the former Wilma G. Yost in the Richwood First Baptist Church and she survives in Radnor.
He was retired from Pollack Steel in Marion, where he had worked for over 23 years. He was a member of the Fulton Creek Friends Church. A member of the NRA, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and being outdoors, and loved animals. More than anything, he loved his family and enjoyed attending his grandchildren’s sporting and school events.
Besides his wife of 57 years, he is survived by two daughters, Penny Kay Fritz, Marion; Diana Lynne (Dave) Worrall, Westerville; two sons, Ernest Samuel (Phyllis) Deel, Richwood; Michael Allen (Christine) Deel, Radnor; three brothers, Arnold (Judy) Deel, Alabama; Bill Deel, Delaware; Thurman (Anne) Deel, Florida; two sisters, Ethel McCumber, Delaware; Loretta Camp, Arizona; five grandchildren, Kevin Kline, Shawn Fritz, Niki (Ronnie) Fritz-Branam, Tonya (Mike) Wilk, Scott Deel; ten great-grandchildren, Kacey, Bailee and Kevin Kline; Gabriel Branam, Samantha and Raven Fritz; Ashton, Austin, Ariana and Evelyn Wilk. He was preceded in death by five siblings.
Funeral services will be Friday, October 17, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home, Richwood with Pastor Dennis Peters officiating. Burial will follow in Shoup (Thompson Twp.) Cemetery. Friends may call on Thursday from 4 to 7 PM at the funeral home in Richwood.
Memorial gifts may be made to Fulton Creek Friends Church, 10950 Fulton Creek Road, Richwood, OH 43344.

So sorry to hear of Ernest's passing.
I worked at Pollak Steel years ago when all three brothers worked there.

What a shock! I did a double take. Didn't realize he had been ill. We're sorry for your loss. I know he will be missed,and after 57 yrs.of marriage you all have wonderful memories to recall. Live for the joy of a life well lived and through Jesus' promises we will all be together once again someday.God bless you all.

Dear Wilma, sorry to hear about Ernie. Please accept our love and prayers over the next few days.
