Carolyn A. Clunk |

A 1964 graduate of Elgin High School, she was a dedicated restaurant owner and operator, running the Dari Point in Delaware for many years. Carolyn was a member of the Green Camp United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday school. She loved taking care of her yard, tending to her flowers and riding her John Deere tractor. (Amber) Clunk, Prospect; two brothers, Ralph (Patty) Russell, Prospect; Charles (Shirley) Russell, Prospect; a special sister-in-law, Mary (Gary) Nucio, Naples, Florida; and granddaughters, Mikayla, Bethany and Maya. She is also survived by Marke A. (Denise) Lyon, Marion; Julie (Jeff) Daily, Winter Garden, Florida; and her best friend and companion, Toby.
Funeral services will be Thursday, August 28, 2014 at 2:00 PM at the Green Camp United Methodist Church with Pastor Josh Freshour officiating. Burial will follow in Green Camp Cemetery. Friends may call on Wednesday from 4 to 7 PM at the Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home, Prospect.

Carolyn was a very special person. So kind and loving even as she bravely fought her cancer. It was an honor to have known her.
