Stuart Harold Simmons

Stuart Harold Simmons, Age 64, of Brookville, passed away unexpectedly, Monday, May 20, 2013. Stuart was born in Marion, OH. He graduated from Richwood High in ’67 and from Asbury College in ’71. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Union. He was a faithful member of the Gideon Ministry for over 35 years, loved sharing the scriptures and love of the Lord with people and rejoiced when they came to accept salvation by faith in Jesus Christ. He enjoyed teaching at ITT and Edison Community college. Stuart loved his family and was known and loved by many people. Survived by his wife, Shirley Simmons, Brookville; parents, Harold and Ruth Simmons, Richwood; daughters, Dr. Natalie Simmons, Missouri and Karen (Mike) Esposito, Chicago; brother, Dr. Donald (Carole) Simmons; nieces, Laura and Katie, Wilmore, KY and first cousin, Dan (Carol) Simmons, Delaware, OH.
