Kenneth E. Preston |
 Kenneth E. Preston, age 90 of Richwood formerly of Florida where he resided for many yrs., died Thursday evening February 21, 2013 at Heartland of Marion. He was born October 24, 1922 in Aberdeen, Maryland to the late William E. and Edith Gregg (Baker) Preston. He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Betty M. (Wheeler) Preston.
He was a veteran of the United States Navy serving during World War II. Kenneth was self employed, working in the door and window construction industry.
He is survived by his wife, Evelyn R. (Parthemer) Preston; step-children, Mitchell (Anna) Ross, Richwood; Randy (Melanie) Ross, Waldo; Scott (Tina) Hamilton, Richwood; Judy (Sam) Wiford, Wisconsin, Sandra (Charlie) Brown, Richwood; two sisters, Elaine Godby, Arizona; Shirley Preston, New Castle, Pennsylvania; grandchildren, Jessica Hamilton, Julia Hamilton, John Thomas III, Charles (Star) Ross, Bill (Caroline) Henderson; and several great-grandchildren.
A veteran graveside service will be held at a later date in Claibourne Cemetery.

In loving memory of Kenny. We'll treasure the memories and times we shared in Florida, Fort Wayne and Richwood with Kenny and Rose. He was a dear friend.

Our prayers go out to Rose and the family. We were blessed to know Kenny. We'll remember the good visits with Kenny and Rose in Florida, OH and IN. They were great friends to our parents (Al & Janet) and we know they will also miss Kenny dearly.
