June Bernice Cochran Munson Saltzman |
June Bernice Cochran Munson Saltzman, age 78, of Marion, Ohio died Monday December 17, 2012 at 3:10 AM at Heartland of Marion. She was born April 1, 1934 in Martin County, Indiana to the late Louis Grant and Zella Mae (Burress) Cochran. Her husband Robert Saltzman preceded her in death.
She is survived by daughter; Susan Renee (Munson) Layne of Marion. Step son Blaiz (Ruth) Saltzman of Kenton, Step-daughters; Tracey L. and Sandy Saltzman both of California and Robin (Don) Wade of North Carolina. Grandchildren; Matthew and Casey Layne, Olivia and Renna Munson. Great Grandchild; Kolby Saltzman. Daughter-in-law Cynthia Munson of Colorado. Son Franklin Scott Munson and brother; Norman Cochran are deceased.
June was owner of Tri-County Stone Quarry, Graduated from Marseilles High School, Member of Marion Senior Center, Big M Scooter Club, Warpole Chapter #366 O.E.S. of Upper Sandusky. She also volunteered at the Palace Theatre in Marion.
There will be no calling hours or services. The Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home in LaRue is helping with arrangements.
Those who wish may make contributions to either the American Cancer Society or A Hospice of the Donor’s choice.

Our deepest sympathy goes out to the family of June Saltzman. She was a long time volunteer at The Palace Theatre and will be sadly missed.

So sorry for your loss. June was a friend to me for a short time from the senior center. She will be sadly missed by all of us.

So very sorry to read of June's passing. We so enjoyed her when we hauled out of Tri-County. Plus we had the honor of getting to do some seeding work for her at her lovely new home some years back. She will be missed by many. God Bless. Erik and Cheryl Johnson
