Martha Mae Winkle |
 Martha Mae Winkle, age 79 of Richwood, died Wednesday, September 19, 2012 at her home. She was born August 6, 1933 in Richwood to the late John and Anna (Wheeler) Mulligan. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Charles and Marvin Mulligan and a sister, Ramona Sellers.
Martha loved to go out and eat and go shopping with her family. She was a homemaker and member of the Community United Calvary Church in Richwood. She enjoyed playing cards and bingo, making cakes and crafts and collecting tea cup sets and angels.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Paul Raymond Winkle, whom she married at the Richwood home of his parents on September 12, 1952. Also surviving are two sons, Robin (Rhonda) Winkle, West Mansfield; David Winkle, Richwood; two daughters, Ramona Kay (Matthew) Johnson, Richwood; Caroline (Jeff) Pheifer, Magnetic Springs; 16 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter; two sisters, Anita Howell, Columbus; and Elizabeth Eaches, Radnor.
Funeral services will be Sunday, September 23, 2012 at 5:00 PM at the Community United Calvary Church with Pastor David Hudson officiating. Friends may call two hours prior to the service at the church beginning at 3:00.

Aunt Martha....you were my best friend...so many fond memories of delivering papers baking cookies making taffy ...BINGO....Lord knows i have missed you so much...and i know i will see you again...still loved and missed terribly

My condolences to the entire family. I remember playing many euchre games with Martha in our card group years ago. She was truly a special lady.

Uncle Paul, I'm sorry to hear of Aunt Martha's passing I hope she knew I cared for her very much and I hope she knew that I appreciated so much the help she and you gave me when I needed it.. Aunt Martha was very strict but she was really just a mother hen and I will always love her for that..

To Martha's family,
I worked with Martha at Ralph's IGA in the late fifties. She was a delight to work with and we had a lot of laughs together. My condolences to her family and friends.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Martha and I grew up across the street from one another. I have fond memories of walking to school together when we were young. My prayers are with your family.
