I am in shock - I am so sorry to hear about Delton and Fannie. Mother sent me his obit; I just received it yesterday and pulled up this site and couldn't believe it. I have been wanting to call or write you all; I am currently on a 60 day tour in Memphis with the Army Corps of Engineers and cannot come home or I would be there with you all. I hope neither suffered. My heart is with the entire family. Upon my return, I shall gather up Mother and come to visit you. I am thanking of you . . .

Dear Joyce and Mark,
I am so sorry to hear of your grandmother's passing. I think of home so often getting older and I try to look back on the friends I grew up with and want them to know that you,and all of you were a part of me growing up and I feel vice versa. My prayers are with you.
