Robert Gene Saltzman |
Robert Gene Saltzman, age 78, of LaRue, Ohio died Sunday May 31, 2009 at 10:28 AM at his home. He was born February 16, 1931 in Findlay, Ohio to the late Virgil and Frances (Kraus) Saltzman. On February 16, 1974 he married June B. Cochran and she survives.
Also surviving are children; Tracey Saltzman of CA, Sandy Saltzman of CA, Robin (Don) Wade of NC, Blaiz (Ruth) Saltzman of Kenton and Renee Munson Layne of Marion. Seven Grandchildren and one Great Grandchild.
He was preceded in death by son Franklin Scott Munson and a sister Marilyn Steinmetz.
Mr. Saltzman worked at Tri-County Limestone, was a Korean War veteran serving in the U S Army, a member of Masonic Lodge of Upper Sandusky, Upper Sandusky Council No. 98, McCutchen Chapter No.96, and Warpole Chapter #366 O.E.S. where he was past Patron. Also member of the Big-M Scooter Club of Marion.
There will be no service or calling hours. The Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home in LaRue is assisting with arrangements.

My sincere condolences on the loss of your father. You probably don't remember me, but I used to be pals with your mother, Jo Saltzman, and Deane Faine back in the 50s when we worked at Cooper Tire and I remember you kids. Could you tell me where your mother is now and how I could contact her to say hi. Was just thinking about her recently and wondering how she was. Thanks so much.

I am so sorry to hear about Bob death. I wanted to let you know that my thoughts are with you all!
I personally have so many fond memories with all of you, excluding Bob! You all were so warm and kind to me.
