Ruby Theresa Gamble

Ruby Theresa Gamble, of Richwood died Sunday May 3, 2009 at Heartland of Marysville, Ruby was 99 yrs and 11 months; she just missed one of her goals of living to be 100. Ruby was born June 3, 1909 in York Twp. To the late Curtis and Mary (Kale) Fields She was married to Vernon H. Griffiths on June 30, 1937 and he died June 5, 1966, she then married James F. Gamble on November 12, 1972 and he died March 29, 1987 Ruby was a member of the First Baptist Church in Richwood She was the last member of her immediate family, having 2 sisters and 3 brothers deceased She is survived by nieces and nephews and special care givers: Jake and Ruth Allison of Richwood In keeping with Ruby’s wishes, graveside services will be held Wednesday May 6, 2009 at 11:00 am at the Claibourne Cemetery, there will be no calling hours. Rev. Condolences       to #1 from: Richard and Donna Lawrence Bremen, OH Tue, May 5, 2009 at 10:04 AM To the family of Ruby Gamble, Ruby and Arlene were young women when I was growing up and I always admired both of them. I thought of them many times but had lost track of them. When I was a child I loved to visit their mother,  my "Great Aunt Mary", at her farm near Essix and I often stayed several days with her. She was so patient with us and she always let us "help" her make soap. Her sister, Mollie Rebecca Converse was my grandmother. We send you our love and our sympathy.
