Sixteen years ago on this very day, at 2:30pm, two people walked into a little chapel and promised their love and lives to one another. I can't speak for my wife, but I married the love of my life on that day. Sixteen years later, I still feel the same way. Sometimes, on a lonely day, when I feel like the pain couldn't be any greater and I can't take it anymore, I can feel Stacey's presence comforting me and protecting me from myself. I miss her terribly. I've lost a lot in the last decade and a half. I look at our wedding pictures and can't stand the boy (I was only twenty-four) that's looking back at me. I should have been there to protect her. Awe, but Stacey looked so radiant! At the time, she looked happy. I'll never forget that perfect smile as long as I live. It hurts to be without her, but I know one thing. God's on the throne! I'll see her again, someday. I love you, my Angel.
