Janet Marie Graham |
 Janet (James) Graham, 75, of Prospect died Wednesday evening at Community Healthcare Center in Marion. She was born to Hugh and Virgie (Roush) James on September 27, 1932. She graduated from New Bloomington High School in 1951.
Janet married George Graham of Prospect on September 22, 1951. They had two children, Robert James Graham, who preceded her in death in 2007; and a daughter, Linda M. (Richard) Harper of Richwood; 4 grandchildren, Sarah Harper, Richwood; Ashley, Tyler and Elizabeth Graham, Hilliard; 2 great-grandchildren, Kayden James Graham and Kenzly Graham, Hilliard; 4 brothers, Raymond (Marcella) James, Wellsville; Morse James, Marion; Herbert (Anna) James, New Bloomington; John (Carol) James, Cardington; 7 sisters, Lilie Mae James, Marion; Mabel Biehl, Indiana; Marguerite Hickman, Morral; Thelma Hickman, Morral; Mary C. (Dale) Hughes, LaRue; Virgie Anne Kinsler, New Bloomington; Betty Lou (Bill) Jones, Marion; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Besides her son Robert and her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Kenneth James Graham in 2007; 2 brothers, Donald James and Earl James and a sister, Doris Roszman.
Janet was a warm, big-hearted lady who loved kids and family. She was a great cook and liked to garden and can. She will be sadly missed by all.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, March 31, 2008 at 1:00 PM in the Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home, Richwood with Pastor John Bradley officiating. Burial will follow in Price Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 5 PM on Sunday.
