Carol S. Landon age 96 of Prospect, died Wednesday December 19, 2007 at Marion Manor Nursing Home She was born July 6, 1911 in Antwerp to the late John Lincoln and Mary (McCaskey) Saum Carol was a homemaker, member of the Prospect United Methodist Church and the Prospect Senior Citizens On Christmas day of 1928 she married Ray L. Landon and he died in January of 1974, also preceded by 1 son: Lou Lemoyne Landon, Daughter in Law: Barbara Landon, Son in law Aaron Miley and 1 Granddaughter, 2 brothers and 4 sisters Surviving are her children: George A. Landon of Monroeville, Roger l. (Anne Carr) Landon of Kent, Midge Miley of Marion, Becky (Bill) Maggs of Mt. Gilead and Doris Cornett of Urbana Funeral services will be held Monday December 24, 2007 at 11:00 am at the Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home in Prospect, where friends may call Sunday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm, Rev. David L. Hoffman will officiate, burial will be in the Prospect Cemetery Memorial gifts may be made to Project Faith C/O Prospect U.M.
