Donna Marie Cooper |
Donna Marie Cooper, 50, of Marion died Tuesday, September 18, 2007 at OSU Hospital. She was born November 22, 1956 in Charleston, SC to Martin Sr. and the late Frances Jeannette (Brinson) Cooper.Her father Martin and his wife Catherine Cooper raised her and they survive in La Rue.
She was a 1976 graduate of Elgin High School and was a homemaker. She loved her grandchildren, enjoyed going to church and taking care of her cats and listening to all sorts of music.
Surviving are her children: Christina Marie (Rodney) Cox of Salem, Virginia and their children: Rodney II, Ethan, Hannah and Josiah, Amanda Jeannette (Kevin Daniel) McNamara and their Children: Kaitlyn, Alexander, Madison and Charity of San Antonio, Texas, and Michael Vernon Sullivan of Marion
Brothers and sisters: Martin (Chris) Cooper Jr. of LaRue, Michael Cooper of West Mansfield, Ed (Debra) Fridley of Prospect, Mark (Sally) Fridley of Shelby, Karen Fridley of Marion and Rhonda Cooper (Brian) Lane of West Mansfield
Also surviving is her former husband Donald Vernon Sullivan of Marion
Funeral services will be held Friday September 21, 2007 at 2:00 pm at the Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home in Richwood where friends may call from noon until the time of service, Rev. Rodney Cox will officiate, burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery, LaRue
