Vera Mae Kelly

Vera Mae Kelly, 83, of West Palm Beach, Fla., died Jan. 11, 1999 at Sutton Place Convalescent Center and an illness of several months. She was a homemaker and an office manager for the family electrical contracting business. She was a member of Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 42 in Richwood and OCCL. She was bom Nov. 3,1915, in Chugwater, Wyo., to the late Earl and Goldia Jams Beers and was predeceased by a brother, Roy Beers. She married Leland Merle Kelly Sept. 1, 1935, and he died Oct. 12, 1998 ^ She is survived by a son, Merle L. Kelly of Marion; three daughters, Dr Larol Sue Kelly of Simi Valley, Calif., Marilyn Kay Rabbitt of North Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.; and Patricia Ann Kelly of West Palm Beach, Fla • 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; a sister, Velda Holt of LaRue; 'and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Richwood First United Methodist Church. The Rev. Joseph Rhea will officiate and burial will be at the Claibourne Cemetery. The Ballinger Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Palm Beaches.
