Ruth Magdalene Ball

Ruth Magdalene Ball, 84, died Saturday, Oct. 9,1999, at Grady Memorial Hospital in Delaware. The former Prospect resident was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Mt. Carmel Chapter #42 OES, and the Katherine Luther Guild. She was born November 29, 1914, a daughter of Daniel and Catherine Schuster Miley. Her husband Clifford Ball, whom she married February 24,1932, preceded her in death March 1981. Surviving are a son, Larry Ball of Phoenix, Az.; three daughters, Pat Reed of Lancaster, Janet Reece of Delaware, and Linda McCafferty of Bellefontaine; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and a brother Arthur Miley of Bonita Springs, Flu. The Rev. Stephen S. Bull conducted funeral services Tuesday, Oct. 12, 1999, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Burial was at Prospect Cemetery. Gehm-Ballinger Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church Memorial Fund.
