Stanley Lowell Redmon, 67, of Prospect died Tuesday May 27, 2003, at Marion General Hospital. He worked for B.F. Goodrich and his greatest joy was his grandchildren. He was born Jan. 17, 1936, in Prospect to the late Pearl and Gertrude Wood Redmon and was predeceased by two brothers, David and Gerald and a sister, Maxine Brown. He is survived by his wife, Jean Willis Redmon whom he married Aug. 10,1957, in Claibourne; two sons, Rex Redmon of Galion and Randy (Kelly) Redmon of Marion; four grandchildren, Dustin and Deidra of Galion and Ryan and Jared of Marion; a brother, Robert Redmon of Richwood; and two sisters, Betty Johnson of Marion and Ilene (Robert) Dennis of New Bloomington. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Gehm-Ballinger Funeral Home in Prospect. The Rev. Brian Lauzau will officiate and burial will be at the Prospect Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today. Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association of Northcentral Ohio, 5455 N. High St., Columbus, Ohio 43214.
