Albert Amstutz

Funeral services were held July 7 for Albert Amstutz, 87, of LaRue, in Stofcheck Funeral Home, LaRue. Mr. Amstutz died July 3 1975 at 6 p.m. in Marion Manor Nursing Home.
Born April 8, 1888 in Bluffton, he was a son of David and Mary Spallinger Amstutz. His first wife, Fannie Luginbuhl, died in 1922. In 1928 he married Grace Spicer Sutton, who survives.
He was a member of LaRue United Methodist Church. He was a retired farmer.
Also surviving are 5 sons, Harold of Fostoria, Ralph of Richwood, Rev. Landolene, Kansas, Rev. Howard, Colorado and Wilford of Indiana; 1 daughter, Mrs. Mary Purdy, California; 18 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Three brothers and two sisters are deceased.
Rev. James Mason officiated at the services. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery.
