Raymond "Bud" Hastings

Raymond "Bud" Hastings, 71, died at 12:35 a.m. today March 24, 1975 at his home on Dry Lane Road, LaRue,   followng   a   two-year illness. He was a farmer and had served as a special deputy sheriff under LeRoy Retterer and later worked for the State Highway Department. Mr. Hastings was a aative of LaRue. Surviving are his widow, Helen Longberry Hastings; 2 daughters, Mrs. Charles (Patsy) Morgan of LaRue and Mrs. Harold (Lynn) Smith of Columbus; 2 grandsons, and 2 sisters, Mrs. Hazel HoUiday of LaRue and Mrs. Mabel Gorman of Marion. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in Stofcheck Funeral Home at LaRue with the Rev. Floyd Bosher officiating. Burial will be in LaRue Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 Tuesday afternoon and Tuesday night.
