Dorothy Ballard

MAGNETIC SPRINGS- Mrs. Dorothy Ballard, 69, wife of Eldon J. Ballard of Magnetic Springs, died at 12:10 a.m. today Dec 21, 1973 in Marion Manor Nursing Home after an illness of nearly six months.   Originally from Hardin  County, she was a member of Magnetic  Springs Village Council; United Methodist  Church and its Triple L Class, United   Methodist   Women, Veterans   Service   Club   and Union County Red Cross board and Gray Ladies. Surviving besides her husband are 2 daughters, Mrs. Lloyd (Betty) Cox of Columbus and Mrs. Robert (Janis) Davis of Magnetic Springs; 5 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren, and a brother Ralph Daniels of Kenton. Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in Stofcheck Funeral Home at Richwood. The Rev. Herman Secoy will officiate. Burial will be in Grove Cemetery near Kenton. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Saturday.
