Ivan Burley Saiter, 64, of 1010 Richwood-LaRue Rd., LaRue died Tuesday April 24, 1973 at 11:50 p.m. in Hardin Memorial Hospital,
Kenton. He had been ill for seven years.
A retired farmer, he was born Sept. 24, 1908, in Columbus to George Washington Saiter and Lucy Lavine Burley.
In June, 1928, he married Vera Leona Price in Mount Gilead, and she survives.
In addition he leaves a son, Dr. George Saiter of Greely, Colo.; a daughter, Mrs. Guy (Peggy) Samples of 2010 Marion-Marysville Rd. 2 sisters, Mrs. George Short of Marion, Mrs. Waunetta McGhee of Crowley, Texas; a half-sister, Miss Mildred Gibson of Marion; a half-brother, James M. Davis of Marion, and 3 grandchildren, children.
Rev. O'Neil Phelps will officiate for the funeral service Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Stofcheck-Ford Funeral Home, LaRue with burial in LaRue Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Friday from
2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m.
