Esther L. Britton

Esther L. Britton, 86, formerly of Kiwanis Village, LaRue, died Monday evening April 20, 1992 at Marion General Hospital. Bom May 22, 1905, in Marion County, she was the daughter of Issac and Inez (Britton) Dickason. On June 15,1944, she married Walter M. Britton. He preceded her in death Jan. 14,1981. The homemaker had formerly worked as a secretary. She was a member of LaRue United Methodist Church; LaRue Senior Citizens; and American Legion Auxiliary Unit 101, LaRue. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. David (Judith) Ong, Nashville, Term.; three step-daughters, Mrs. Robert (Sharon) Ridgeway, Kokomo, Ind., Mrs. John (Patricia) Bradley, Marion, Ind., and Mrs. Ralph (Nancy) Merrell, Tipton, Ind.; step-grandchildren and step-greatgrandchildren. A brother and five sisters are deceased. The funeral is 11 a.m. Thursday at . Stofcheck Funeral Home, LaRue, with the Rev. David M. Elliott officiating. Friends may call 2-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
