| RICHWOOD — Dale E. Evans, 75, 11479 Hoskins Road, died Monday October 19, 1992 at Riverside Methodist Hospital.
Bom April 18, 1917, in Portland, Ind., he was the son of Wilbert and Susie Chapman Evans, Mr. Evans was a Navy veteran of World War JJ and a retired self-employed truck driver. He was a member of the Richwood Church of Christ, where he served as a deacon; a member of Richwood VFW Post 870 and the American Legion Baccarat Post 40. May 15, 1946, he married the former Pearl F. Stevens in Richwood. She survives along with four sons, Roger Evans, Cincinnati; Rodney Evans, LaRue; Randy Evans, Camden; and Raymond D. Evans; a sister, Mrs. Sylvia Beeney Phelps, Richwood; and four grandchildren. A daughter, two brothers and three sisters are deceased, iFuneral services are 2 p.m. Thursday at the Stofcheck Funeral Home, Richwood, where calling hours will be held 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday Burial is in Claibourne Cemetery. Graveside veteran services will be conducted by the Richwood VFW and American Legion. The Rev. Maynard j Moser will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to the Heart Fund and the Richwood Emergency Squad Association.
