Mary E. Roszman, 71, 21755 Dec-liff Road. Morral, died early Friday morning October 23, 1992 at Marion General Hospital after an extended illness.
She was born Aug. 17. 1921, in Tomah, Wisc., the daughter of Adam and Mary McGrady Mitchell, and was raised by an uncle and aunt, the late Ernest and Maude Weston.
Residing in Grand Township for 45
years, Mrs. Roszman had been employed with the Marion Telephone Co. and also Marion City Loan. She was a member of Meeker United Methodist Church and its Ruth Artz Circle, and was active in the Ridge-dale Boosters.
On April 24, 1947, in Manon, she married Dwight J. Roszman, who survives.
Also surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Mark (Susan) Meuser, Gahanna, Mrs. Leonard (Molly) Rondeau, Indianapolis, Ind.; and Joaann Roszman, Morral; a brother, Earl Mitchell, Washington state; and three grandchildren. A daughter and three brothers are deceassed.
The service will be 11 a.m. Monday at Meeker United Methodist Church with the Rev. John Schlicher officiating. Burial will follow in Meeker Cemetery.
Friends may call at Stofcheck Funeral Home, LaRue, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday. Memorial contributions may be made to Meeker UM or the oncology department of Marion- General Hospital.
