RICHWOOD — Berlin "Bud" Young, 82, Fulton Creek Road, near Radnor, died Thursday morning November 3, 1994 at Grady Memorial Hospital, Delaware.
He was born April 19, 1912, in Mason County, W. Va., a son of Harvey and Nancy (Steele) Young.
He was a retired farmer and had served as a school bus driver for Buckeye Valley Schools for 21 years. He was a member of Richwood Church of Christ, and the Delaware Senior Citizens. On Aug. 31, 1936, in Greenup, Ky., he married the former Hazel M. Fryman, and she survives.
Mr. Young also is survived by a son, Russell Young, Radnor, a daughter, Mrs. Irvin (Wilma) Rolfe, Delaware; a brother, Warren Young, Marysville; a sister, Hallie Plants, Apple Grove, W.Va.; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, two sisters and two grandchildren.
The service will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Stofcheck Funeral Home with Charles Fye and Matt Terry, ministers, officiating. Burial will follow in Shoup Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Saturday.
Memorial contributions may be made to the building fund of Church of Christ, in care of the funeral home.
