Marilyn E. Lewis, 73, of Richwood died Thursday, Aug. 7, 2003, at
Milcrest Nursing Center.
She was a homemaker and farm wife. She enjoyed fishing at Indian Lake,
deer hunting, gardening and canning. She and her husband enjoyed
traveling to Michigan, Pennsylvania and around Ohio and attending many
North Union sporting events. The real joy of her life was her family,
her son, granddaughter and great-grandchildren.
She was born May 6, 1930, in Kenton to the late Jay and Bertha Rogers
Titus and she was predeceased by a brother, Jerry, and a sister, Dixie.
She married Joseph Lewis Sept. 8, 1947, and he died July 10, 2002.
She is survived by a son, Duane R. Lewis of Richwood; a granddaughter,
Gina (Chris) Selover of Marysville; and great-grandchildren, Grace, Joel
and Faith; a brother, Gary Titus of Arizona; and two sisters, Linda
(Larry) Douglas of Marion and Barb Titus of California.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at the Stofcheck Funeral
Home in Richwood. The Rev. Steve Wood will officiate and burial will be
at the Claibourne Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Northern Union County Fire and
EMS Association.
