LARUE — Imogene Lamb, age 89, of LaRue, Ohio, died Thursday, Nov. 4, 1999, at 5 a.m. at Community Healthcare Center in Marion, Ohio.
She was born Feb. 21, 1910, near Meeker in Marion Count to the late William L. and Catherine (Moon) Mears.
On Sept. 17,1932, she married Lester (Buck) Lamb, and he died May 17,1970.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Wilma (Duane) Carner of LaRue and Mrs. Jane (Larry) Mahaffey of Marion; five grand-children; and one great-grandchild. A daughter, Barbara Dut-ton, one son, one brother and two sisters are deceased.
Mrs. Lamb was a homemaker, worked at the cafeteria at Elgin West Elementary School and was a 1928 graduate of Harding High School.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, Nov. 6, 1999, at 1 p.m. at the LaRue Cemetery. Minister will be the Rev. Darlene Weidner. There will be no calling hours. The Stofcheck Funeral Home in LaRue is in charge of ar rangements.
