Marie E. Scarberry MARION — Marie E. Scar-   -berry, age 78, of 400 Delaware Ave.,   Marion,   formerly  of   i Meeker, died Monday, Feb. 17,   ; 2003, at 8:20 p.m. at Community Healthcare Center in Marion. She was born March 25, 1924, in Lawrence County, Ky., to the late Colonel and Cora Bell (Webb) Hammonds. On Sept. 1,1943, she married Russell Scarberry and he died March 18,1978. Mrs. Scarberry was a home-maker and a member of the New Covenant Fellowship Church in Marion. She is survived by three sons, Tom (Paula) Scarberry of Dunkirk, Floyd Eugene (Mary) Scarberry of Kenton and Russell David Scarberry of Marion; one daughter, Margaret (Bill) Woodring of Marion; 10 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; and one brother Colonel (Bernice) Hammonds of Cir-cleville. One brother and five sisters are deceased. Funeral services will be held Friday, Feb. 21, 2003, at 11 a.m. at the Stofcheck Funeral Home in LaRue. Minister will be the Rev. Greg Masteller. Burial in the Frame Cemetery in Meeker. Friends may call at the funereal home in LaRue from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday. Those who wish may make contributions to the charity of the donor's choice.
