Gene was one of the nicest men we have ever known. We are so glad we were able to visit with him in February. I’ve known Gene and Isabelle for all of my life. Such a special loving couple! Rick even drove to Carey to buy his first new truck. Love to all. Prayers!🙏

Words cannot express my grief over Gene's passing. We didn't see each other much, but I loved Gene very much. It is heartbreaking losing him so soon after Bobby. I'm sure they are together, along with the rest of the clan, treading the streets of gold. I can imagine a Cheney Ave., lined with wonderful mansions in our Lord's realm. All of our kin residing side by side, closer than ever. Perhaps even a Cheney City. My prayers are with you, asking God to envelope you with His graces and to ease your pain and suffering. Rest with peaceful assurance, Heaven is most assuredly one more Cheney richer this day.

Isabelle and family, we send much love and sympathy for your loss. Gene was indeed a very special man and I'm so glad to have the afternoon together when you came to Canandaigua, NY for your family reunion. The two of you have been such wonderful winter family members in Happy Days. May you feel the love of Jesus while you're on this most difficult transition. God has another wonderful God loving member in heaven.
