Donette Mae MooreMusicNotesDonette Mae Moore, 74 of LaRue died Friday morning, July 15, 2016 at Marion General Hospital.

She was born September 13, 1941 in Somersville to the late Edgar Irwin and Leona Fay (Griffith) Jackson.  She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Kenneth Eugene, Ernest Lee and Edgar Irwin Jr. and two sisters, Erma June and Edna Alberta.

On January 21, 1956 she married Billy Moore in Liberty, Indiana and he survives.

Donette loved country music and was a talented singer.  She enjoyed singing at country music jamborees around the area.  Her musical abilities also included calling square dances and playing guitar.  She also enjoyed sewing and crocheting, cooking and she loved to paint.

Besides her husband of over 60 years, she is also survived by a daughter, Beverly Jean Terry, Marion; three grandchildren, Jaime Michelle (David) Courtney; David Allen Luyster, Jr.; Laura Jean (Esbin) Pineda-Muralles; and six great-grandchildren, Ryan, Kaitlyn, Sarah, Antonio, Elena, and Demarkis.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at 1:00 PM at the Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home, LaRue where friends may call 2 hours prior to the service, beginning at 11:00 AM.  Pastor Tim Pasma will officiate and burial will follow in Price Cemetery.

Memorial gifts may be made to the Central Ohio Diabetes Association, 1100 Dennison Avenue, Columbus, OH 43201.
